The field of 64 teams for the 2025 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship was announced this morning and the Big 12 Conference, as expected, got eight teams into the field.
Four of the teams are in Regionals that if they won, would pit them against another Big 12 team should they both emerge. The other four Regional winners from the Big 12 would face teams from other conferences. In theory, six teams could advance to Omaha for the College World Series.

"It's exactly what we came here to do and more. Coming into this year we knew that we were a regional team. It was just about going out and executing. If you think about how we did execute, it was pretty fantastic. We won the games we were supposed to win and the times that we stubbed our toe, you can count them. This is incredibly fulfilling." -Kansas head coach Dan Fitzgerald on making the field of 64
“I’m so thrilled for this team for the fact that from now on, they’ll never, ever quit at anything they do because they’ll have something to look back on and say ‘Hey, when something seems like a big task or hard to figure out or I’m not sure I can do this,’ they’ll have this experience to draw from,” -Oklahoma State head coach Josh Holliday on making the field of 64
