Week 1 College Baseball Top 50

The first weekend of college baseball is in the books which means it's time to reassess the preseason rankings.


After nearly a thousand games of college baseball were played on Opening Weekend, some teams skyrocketed, but none were able to pass LSU who remains at No. 1.

Wake Forest, missing Teddy McGraw due to soreness, swept through their four games against Youngstown State and Illinois and climbed to No. 2. Stanford, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M round out the top five.


The SEC tops all conferences with 13 ranked teams, followed by the ACC (10), and Pac-12 (6). The Big 12 and Sun Belt are tied at four teams apiece..
